I have kinda been following Caltex since its share price was around 2 bucks at the beginning of this century and as it took off past $20 bucks last year. Like many other stocks listed on the ASX it has been beaten down. Caltex is now around 10 dollars as of today and wondered if it was good value at that price?

I would be interested given the sell off and have the proceeds of my Lion Nathan sale to spend. Looking for another good staple with a good market position and the ability to grow steadily. Caltex looks like it fits the bill to me.
